SHIFT + CTRL (2025) is an artistic work developed during the 2025 edition of the RAIVE Summer School. Created within a collaborative and research-oriented context, SHIFT + CTRL explores Control as a phenomenon that emerges in-between human soma and artificial intelligence. From bloodflow to dataflow, SHIFT + CTRL situates artificial intelligence as an integrated component of performance and perception, to coexist, interact, and continuously reshape hybrid forms of new materialist and experiential configurations, co-constituted by human bodies, control-based instructions, and computational systems.
Team
Anne Marleen Olthof, an interdisciplinary performer and PhD-researcher Embodied Knowing based at the University of Amsterdam and University of Antwerp.
Ankie Klut is an Antwerp-based experimental theatre artist, with a background in sociology at the University of Amsterdam.
Paola Paulis is a contemporary dance performer and interdisciplinary artist based between Antwerp and Berlin, working across dance, performance, and collaborative artistic practice.
Agustín Maestre Ordóñez is a composer and choral conductor, currently pursuing a Master's degree in Composition at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp.
